Free family event with live music and entertainment

Birmingham Eid Mela celebrates the diversity of the Muslim Community in Birmingham through its culture, food, sport, art and entertainment. Now in its 13th year, the festival is bigger and better than ever and there is something for everyone to celebrate.

The importance of Birmingham Eid Mela is that it is a celebration of Eid which marks the end of the Muslim period of fasting.

This is a free annual event and promises fun for the whole family. There will be funfair rides, a sports area hosting a Kabbadi and Street Cricket, a bazaar with clothing, jewellery, music and craft stalls and a whole host of catering units selling traditional Asian food.

There will be live music throughout the dayJoin in the fun at Eid Mela and celebrate the diversity of Birmingham’s Muslim community through its culture, music, food and sport. Live music throughout the day, including top UK Asian acts Roach Killa, Nafees, Mumzy, dhol Unit, Asif Khan, Deen Janjua, Rabbayat Jahan, Soni J & Khiza, Parvez Khan, Usman Rehman, Sparkaman and many more, brought to you by BritAsia.
