Birmingham Pride 2010 Road Closures

Birmingham Pride is the UK’s biggest free Gay and Lesbian two day party and takes place over the weekend of Saturday 29th May and Sunday 30th May 2010.

pridelogo2010_smallThe village area around Hurst Street will be closed throughout the weekend with road closures from 5pm Friday 28th May 2010 until 5am Monday 31st May 2010.

The map below shows the village area and road closures that will be in place.  Residents of iLand apartments and Southside apartments will have access to their underground car parks via the junction of Horsefair and Essex Street.  Residents of Latitude can access their car park via Claybrook Street.

A parade leaves Victoria Square at 12 midday on Saturday 29th May and rolling road closures will take place along the route until approximately 1:30pm.  A parade map showing the route is below.
