Birmingham South Family Fun Day – Tally Ho

Tally Ho – Pershore Road Edgbaston Birmingham

This event has been organised by Birmingham South Police officers, it is free to attend and is open to the whole community.

The day will feature two football matches; one kicking off at 10:30 which is the final of the school football tournament run by West Midlands Police, and the second between Birmingham South police officers and the Birmingham City FC all-stars which kicks off at 12pm and is started with a rousing rendition of the National Anthem from the West Midlands Police Brass Band.

There are also a whole range of activities taking place on the day, people will be able to take part in fun filled events, meet their local officers, and much more including:

• Meet police police dogs and puppy cadets

• Have a go on fairground rides and bouncy castle

• Watch a taser demonstration and firearms display

• Sit inside police traffic cars and try on police equipment

• Talk to partners from the Ambulance Service, Crimestoppers, Army Cadets and the Fire Service

• Other fun events include ‘Beat the bobbie’, face painting, a treasure hunt, bike marking, the crossbar challenge, a crime prevention tombola and much more…

Birmingham Resilience Team will also be attending providing information about being more prepared for emergencies as well as signing up to Birmingham Community Alert.
