For many years The Frankley Carnival was held in Frankley, and in 2011, after an absence of a few years, it is returning!

The Frankley Carnival 2011 will be taking place between 11.30am and 4pm on Sunday 28th August 2011 on the grounds of Frankley Community High School, Birmingham, B45 0EU.

This will be a fun and exciting day for everyone There will be plenty of fun activities to keep adults and kids alike entertained and there will be various stalls with representatives from a wide range of community organisations.

Birmingham Resilience Team will be on hand to promote community preparedness, including preparing for flooding, which some in the community of Frankley have experienced over the last few years. We will also be encouraging people to register for the free ‘Birmingham Community Alert’ service, which is a really useful way of finding out the latest information regarding emergencies in your local area.

We hope you can attend and look forward to seeing you on the day!
