Sheldon Country Park

It’s that time of year once again when Sheldon Countryside Festival returns to Sheldon Country Park giving all visitors the opportunity to come and experience a real life inner City Farm! 

Throughout the day there will be a Main Arena Programme comprising of several amazing acts including Bob Hogg Sheepdog and duck display, there will be the Welsh Axe Racing Team illustrating their skills with cross-cut sawing, chain sawing and chopping and James Dylan Stuntworld who perform 2 different shows including ramp jumps, wheelies and remarkable fire stunts.

In the surrounding area there will be plenty of activities for the younger members from Go-Karting, bouncy castles, donkey rides, craft making stalls and a funfair. 

There will be a variety of catering units and a mobile bar providing beverages.

The event supports its local community and plays host to a number of local charity, voluntary and community groups enabling them to raise money for various causes.

The event attracts around 10,000 visitors throughout the day and with admission and on site car parking FREE, provides fun and entertainment for all ages.

Birmingham Resilience Team will also be attending providing advice and information on being more prepared for emergencies and promoting Birmingham Community Alert.
