INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF THE RIOT (DAMAGES) ACT 1886 – Public Meetings, Friday 14th June

The Home Office has commissioned an independent review of the Riot (Damages) Act 1886, which is being led by Mr Neil Kinghan.

As part of the review, Mr Kinghan will be visiting the areas most affected by the riots of August 2011, including Birmingham. He is keen to hear the views of local residents and businesses who were affected by the riots and will be holding meetings on Friday 14 June.

If you are a local resident or business, and you made a claim for insurance under the Riot Damages Act, why not come along and have your say?

The meetings will be held at Birmingham City Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham B1 1BB on 14 June 2013
