Anniversary of Selly Park South flood

Selly Park South Neighbourhood Forum have published an article to mark the second anniversary of flooding in Selly Park.

John Clayton, volunteer flood action co-ordinator said in an e-mail to the Birmingham Resilience Team and other agencies,  “On behalf of the Selly Park South Flood Action Group, the Neighbourhood Forum and the residents of Selly Park South, please accept our grateful thanks for all of your help and support in the considerable achievements made during the past two years. I look forward to our continuing partnership as we work to progress still further with flood defence and community flood resilience in Selly Park South.”

Martin Tolman, Head of the Birmingham Resilience Team said, “much of the success of ‘partnership working’ is due to the drive and enthusiasm of both John Clayton  and other community representatives from the Selly Park South Neighbourhood Forum”.
