Birmingham Community Alert

Birmingham Resilience Team has developed and operated the award winning Birmingham Community Alert our free emergency messaging service in association with our host providers since 2009. At the time Birmingham was the first local authority in the UK to be using a free public emergency messaging service. Our contract is due for renewal and we are looking at the market to see if there is an alternative and improved solution to what we are currently using.

As a minimum we wish to maintain all existing specifications and functionality but would wish to see what new innovations are available to further improve the system currently used .  To register your interest to be considered for this work interested parties will initially need to be registered on where you will be able to find out further information. Closing date noon 29 October 2015.
