Being prepared at the EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon

The Birmingham Resilience Team put on their trainers this weekend and promoted being prepared for emergencies at the EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon.

A promotional trailed was prominently hosted in Centenary Square close to the starting and finishing point of the Birmingham Half Marathon.

It was a very busy day with thousands of runners and spectators many of whom took time out to visit the trailer. Advice was on hand on how citizens could be more prepared for emergencies, as well as being able to collect copies of the ‘Preparing for Emergencies in Birmingham’ booklets and In Case of Emergency (ICE) wallets.
