Community Events

Birmingham Resilience Team attend a number of community events every year, where we provide information and advice about being more prepared for emergencies. We invite citizens to sign up to Birmingham Community Alert, our free emergency messaging service.

We attend large and small events such as Chinese New Year Celebrations, St Patricks Day, Vaisakhi, St Georges Day, Birmingham Pride, Lord Mayor’s Show etc.  We also attend smaller events if possible, we were at the Perry Barr Fun Day and at St Germains Church Community Day in Edgbaston. Its really important that we support the community with helpful information and advice so that they can prepare themselves to respond more effectively if they are affected by an emergency situation.

If you are organising an event, summer fair, open day etc and would like us to attend please contact us and we’ll see if we can join you. Email info@birminghamprepared.gov.uk
