Highways Agency advice re. A38(M) Aston Expressway – technical issue resolved

06/02/2013 – The Highways Agency have informed us that the technical issue has been resolved and that the tidal flow system on the A38 (M) Expressway will return to normal, i.e., lane operation in line with usual procedures to manage peak times.
05/02/2013 – The Highways Agency  advise that their engineers are working to resolve a technical issue with the operation of the tidal flow system on the A38 (M) Aston Expressway.  The Aston Expressway is open and will operate as a “3 lanes in” and “3 lanes out” until the issue is resolved, which is anticipated to be this weekend. The advice is to allow more time for your journey when travelling during peak times.
