Perry Barr and Witton Flood Risk Management Scheme Drop-In

Construction works around Forge Mill Lake

The Environment Agency have submitted a planning application for works around Forge Mill Lake and would like to give you the opportunity to find out what they are proposing and how it may affect you, your home or your business.

The works form Phase 2 of their flood risk management scheme to reduce flood risk to around 1400 properties around Perry Barr and Witton. This will be achieved by increasing the amount of flood storage that is currently available at Forge Mill. The design involves an embankment and control structure which will only operate when they forecast a potential flood risk.

A number of public meetings have been organised in July 2017 and you are invited to join them.
