Poster campaign launched

A poster campaign has been launched across Birmingham to help prepare people for dealing with extreme weather.

climate_change_campaign_imaBirmingham Resilience Team along with the Birmingham Environmental Partnership are informing the public of ways to be prepared for more frequent and damaging floods, a result of our changing climate.

The posters, which will be displayed on various boards throughout the city, explain how to sign up to Birmingham Community Alert; the free service enabing citizens of Birmingham to receive alerts and information relating to emergencies that may happen in their area.  The poster also explains how to contact the Environment Agency and find out if you are at risk of flooding.

The posters will run until the 19th January.
