Top tips on fire safety for householders and businesses

Members of the Fire Brigades’ Union are currently intending to take industrial action. All England’s fire and rescue authorities have robust contingency plans in place and will continue to offer the public an emergency service. However, all householders and businesses should take extra care to avoid accidental fires.

The Department for Communities and Local Government has issued the below guidance for householders and businesses:

Our top tip is that in the event of a fire: Get Out, Stay Out and Call 999 – you will get an emergency response.
