As recent events have shown, flooding can be a devastating experience for people.  The National Flood Forum is a national charity that helps communities and individuals to be prepared for flooding and provides support for those who have suffered.  They work with people and communities to address their concerns from their perspective and with policy makers, agencies and local government to ensure that the views of those who are at risk of flooding are taken in to account.

The Charity are seeking new Trustees who can help their strategic development and to further the work they do.  The National Flood Forum is based in Bewdley, Worcestershire and the Board meets in Birmingham and London.  Further details and an application form can be downloaded at www.floodforum.org.uk.  Alternatively, please contact Amanda Davies at amanda.davies@floodforum.org.uk or on 01299 403101.
