Met Office – Yellow Warning for Rain Friday 8 and Sunday 10 August 2014

A Yellow Warning for Rain has been issued for all UK regions including the West Midlands.

Several areas of heavy showers will develop over the UK from Friday afternoon and evening onwards. The weather will improve on Saturday with sunny spells. However there will be more heavy rain on Sunday.  Flooding is possible where these do occur from surface water as well as from small, fast-responding watercourses.

The public should be aware of the potential for disruption and flooding in places.
