Working together for a resilient Birmingham.

RAIN

Update as at 1800hrs Sunday 25th November

The Environment Agency has flood warnings in force for Birmingham. For more information and updates on flood alerts or warnings visit www.environment-agency.gov.uk.

Council services, Environment Agency, Flood Action Groups and Council contractors have continued to monitor and respond to reports of flooding throughout the weekend and sandbags have been delivered to key areas. We have not received any reports of flooding to properties.

We are advised that tonight’s rain may continue through to tomorrow evening but is not expected to be as persistent as the last few days.

Colleagues are monitoring river levels and contractors will be deployed to deal with any surface water flooding to the highway.

For updates on flooding in your area visit the Environment Agency, www.environment-agency.gov.uk and tune in to local radio.
