Update at 0743hrs – Traffic reports are now showing that the roads in the area have been re-opened following the serious police incident last night.
The B4114 Saltley Viaduct – Road closed both ways between A47 Saltley Road Junction and the B4145 Adderley Road junction because of a serious police incident last night, The West Midlands Police are directing traffic. Allow more time for your journey or choose alternative routes if possible.
The West Midlands Police are appealing on twitter for witnesses after shots were fired at a car in the Alum Rock, make contact with the police if you have any information on twitter or telephone 0345 113 5000.
