Yellow Warning of Rain for West Midlands

The Met Office have updated the Yellow Warning for rain as at 1119 on Mon 5 Aug 2013 , valid from: 1125 today Mon 5 Aug 2013 valid unil : 2100 on Mon 5 Aug 2013

Further rain will affect parts of western England, Wales, northern England and southeast Scotland through today before easing away eastwards. Accumulations of 20-40 mm are likely in many parts with the risk of more than 60 mm over parts of southwest England, Wales and northern England. The public are advised to be aware of the risk of surface water flooding.

Yellow Warning of Rain for West Midlands : Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Wrekin, Warwickshire, West Midlands Conurbation & Worcestershire valid from 2000 Sun 04 Aug to 1600 Mon 05 Aug.

Met Office advise that  Rain will turn heavy on Sunday evening continuing overnight and into Monday before easing away eastwards. Accumulations of 20-40 mm are likely with the risk of more than 60 mm over parts of SW England. The public are advised to be aware of the risk of surface water flooding.
